The Division Resurgence Launch Delayed to December 2024
Ubisoft has announced another delay for its third-person shooter title, The Division Resurgence. The game, which was initially slated for release this month, will now launch in December 2024.
A Series of Delays for The Division Resurgence
This latest delay marks yet another setback for The Division Resurgence, which has been plagued by numerous postponements since its announcement in 2021. The game's first beta, which arrived after a year-long wait, was followed by multiple tests, but the launch date has remained uncertain.
Launch Roadmap and Regional Beta
In an attempt to provide clarity, Ubisoft released a launch roadmap indicating a Fall 2023 launch with two phases of testing. However, in September 2022, the company announced a regional beta and pushed the release date to Early 2024. The original Fall 2023 date was repurposed for an additional test in the USA, Brazil, and Australia.
Unconfirmed Launch Date and Potential Future Tests
Despite the latest delay, the exact launch date for The Division Resurgence remains uncertain. The game's store page previously indicated a March 2024 release, but it has now been updated to December 2024, suggesting another year-long wait. Until the official launch, Ubisoft may conduct additional tests to ensure the game's quality.
Pre-Registration Available
In the meantime, interested players can pre-register for The Division Resurgence on the Google Play Store (for Android) and the App Store (for iOS). By pre-registering, players can stay updated on the game's development and receive notifications about future tests and the official launch.
