I have played Kingdom rush ever since the first game, and I have to say I like what they did adding in multiple towers for unique gameplay. I had almost no issues from the main quest line at all. its when you hit the side quests ( mainly the ice queen one) that the game makes it really apparent that the term pay to win applies. you can gem your way through it, but for the life of me I can't find anything but frustration from the side quests.May 13, 2024 15:22:55

always great games from this company. the story is light hearted and fun. the game is very enjoyable with some challenging moments and you don't actually need to spend anything to win. if you choose to pay you get some nice mechanics that add fun to the game (will indeed make the game easier though). i really like the design and the mechanics of the game. overall a great game, hope they keep doing more of those! or expand the game itself! tks!May 12, 2024 09:53:41

There is a nice addition: you can select and configure new towers. Downsides: Now you get three upgrades per level won and it doesn't matter how much stars you got, or if you decide to play the other challenges. Some towers needs to be purchased, they give you plenty free though. There is no way to know at which difficulty you passed a level. Phone wont vibrate when an enemy gets to the end. Great gameplay, super fun for all ages. A great addition to the KR series. Updated: After 24 hours, I dropped the review. The game crashed multiple times on my Note 9, causing all progress to be lost. Worse, after $5 for the game, they want another $26 to unlock all the heroes and TOWERS. Wonderful game, just like all the rest of them. I have almost every achievement and loved every minute of the grind. However, I'm wondering why there isn't an encyclopedia like in previous games? Replaying levels just to relearn enemies' armor and stats is a real pain. I contacted support back in January and was told it was on the way, but it's been nearly 6 months. It's a tad harder than previous titles, but enjoyable! I love the twist on the story. It does tend to want to overheat my Samsung S7 phone but I suspect part of that is that I keep it in a leather case. It will kill the battery if I let it. Technical problems aside, if you are a Kingdom Rush fan, this game scratches your tower defense itch! Three champions and a large selection of towers are avaiabile for free.
