Pay to win game. If you don't pay the stack is definitely stacked against you. I've played gin for >40 years and losing 30 games in a row is no bad luck streak. Go ahead and pay to win if you want the illusion of being a good player. Will it be the red pill or the blue that you take? This Grand Gin Rummy is awesome! I love that the whole screen font is larger & easier to read. The movement of the game is quicker which maybe because the game is reading the wi-fi conncetion. The older version was having problems reconigizing the wi-fi signal even when I was in the same room as the modem and the signal was at 72bps. This cost me several lost games. Fun, but DO NOT spend money. My tracking has shown the card function is random. However, the game *is* rigged by making you play against bots if you hit threshholds based on your level and chips. The bot is obvious: grossly unrealistic skill (near-constant gins), and a predictable cycle of playing way too fast and then inserting pauses. Before each game, you should be given the stats of your proposed opponent, informed if it's a bot, and be able to reject the opponent. So, play, but don't pay.Mar 08, 2025 18:46:01

Update: so I knocked with a ace left. So did the opponent. THEY won said the game. Game said they undercut. Just how in the h_ll can an ace undercut an ace? This is messed up. I'm done if you don't spend money you can't go far. I will uninstall after I lose all my chips. have spent $15. Was winning at first. After playing this game for months. I have 3 things to say- 1) It has probably the best UX among the card games. 2) It is very well designed. 3) There is some machine bias, as you move up the division.
