The app is not there yet. It's quite slow, has limited features and it is highly priced. Before you purchase the premium, please absolutely make sure that you can add your corporate work email ID to motion. IT admins in big companies usually do not allow integrations with an app like this one because of security issues. In my case, I purchased the Premium and now I have a motion calendar that does not sync with my work calendar rendering it completely useless.May 28, 2024 20:04:38

I find it hilarious that they advertise this specifically towards ADHD people when it is the least adhd friendly thing I have ever used. The mobile app is just bad which should be one of the most important things for adding tasks on the fly and sending reminders. Absolutely not worth the insane cost, there's much better things out there for a fraction of the price.May 28, 2024 18:59:52

The app is pretty solid now, but it's still lacking in UX and missing key features like search. They used the same UI as desktop for the tasks list which doesn't really fit well in a mobile app. Updates are being released more regularly now which is good. Love the web interface, mobile is getting better, still highly recommend. It's great to reduce decision fatigue on what all needs to get done. I can set long term tasks with steps and deadlines, and so long as I roughly adhere to the suggested schedule, suddenly my tasks are done! I can set short term/urgent tasks and Motion reorganizes what is needed so that they get done but I don't get too derailed on the bigger picture. There is a lot of potential. But this app/system still has a long way to go. There doesn't appear to be any functionality for push notifications to keep you on task, switch tasks or remind.
