This is awful. Something has been done where everytime I try to change the music it loses connection and it won't use our saved setting with the music anymore. Whatever you did change it back or fix it. I see so many people complaining about the same thing. This app barley works. It's impossible to discover the paid content. Most of the time there is a delay on an action spanning minutes... Literally minutes later it will switch to something else. Setting up a routine is so unnecessarily complicated. It's a UX dumpster fire.May 18, 2024 09:16:28

Used to work fine until the last update. Now it's terrible. I have to restart it multiple times to get it to connect. There was a major focus shift from usability and functionality to trying to push the subscription at every turn. The app is unreliable. The Hatch will randomly stop working at the most inconvenient times. I also often have trouble connecting to my Hatch, even when only in the room next door to our nursery. Definitely would not buy again and would not recommend to new parents due to the technical difficulties which is a shame because I otherwise would love the product.May 16, 2024 02:20:44

This review is for rest gen 2. What on earth happened to this app? Gen 1 was wonderfully simple, worked with no issues and was easy to use. Gen 2 is a buggy, overly complicated interface with the egregious upsell to a subscription I'll never pay for. This "upgrade" is so bad I'm looking to return the product. Frustrated new Dad review being replaced by more moderate Dad review. Hardware is nice. Software not so much and account issues constantly. I'll update to three stars but I'm unhappy with how hard it is to get service. The buttons on the back won't work anymore, and the app crashes occasionally. More importantly I needed to reset my password and when I click the link it just takes me to the home page of the app. Disappointed.
