It's not really the app per se the issue, it's just how bad expectations are managed. I ordered food with this app on multiple occasions and 2/3 times it would be late. Really late. If it says 30 minutes, it ends up being over an hour. That's not cool when you are dealing with hungry people. If you know before hand that food can take an hour to get to you, you may choose something else or deal with it.Apr 25, 2024 20:04:13

Please remove in app ads. Horrible customer service from Foodora. They exclude restaurants for no reason. Some drivers does not know how to find a building even when standing right outside. One driver was smoking in the car with the food. Some drivers call and say they are outside while I can clearly hear them still driving and when I ask them to ring the doorbell, they suddenly cannot. This even with good tip. Also, there is no way to contact Foodora by phone. Horrible customer service!Apr 24, 2024 13:10:49

Foodora needs to get it together. My first time ordering was a mess. The restuarant didnt have what I ordered and I was only told after 30 minutes. I spoke to them as I wanted to use my friends referral code but the system wouldn't let me. They gave me a voucher. I tried ordering again last night. Same thing happened. So, now my friend and I are starving and need to order something else (we used skip the dishes). And now, the card used to pay has been charged twice for that cancelled order.Apr 23, 2024 08:53:26

Garbage app which baits users in. Saw an ad stating free delivery for certain restaurant's all through October. The restaurant's where near me but delivery is not free and the app charges insane fees that seem greedy to me. My order went from $10 to $20 once I added to cart. Used to be okay. Now it just keeps sending useless and annoying notifications you can't turn off. Last couple of orders they charged me and then suddenly cancelled the order "due to technical difficulties". I've been using the app for over a year, it's simple and works well, never had a problem. Delivery prices were fair, and I've benefitted from a few promos as well. Recently I received some half-cooked food, and the restaurant said to contact Foodora. I was informed the restaurant decided not to offer compensation (restaurant's problem), but Foodora still offered a refund and discount on next order, turning this into a good experience.
