System needs intelligent motion detection to be working to distinguish pedestrians (intruders) from bugs, squirrels etc. BUT it doesn't although this is advertised and available feature. Also, light changes or changing daylight to night vision is recorded as a motion. Without Intelligent Motion Detection, system records too many events. Other observations: - some recordings are 1.5min although configured to be 30sec - remote playback slow (1 second takes 7-8 seconds) - DVR is very loudMar 23, 2024 07:09:28

Update: App is not working that great. When I go to open it, the video either takes forever to load (even on wifi) or the video will load then stall and not play smoothly. Very dissatisfied as it's pointless if one wants to effectively monitor their cameras in real time. Original review: Night and day improvement from the previous hdvision app which would take forever to load and in some instances would not load at all. After8 emails and no response to the problems, I've just about given up on this app. Cobra should stop selling their product and absolutely stop advertising this app. It is useless for their system. cannot add my receiver to my new phone, and haven't been able to view cameras more than 100 feet from my home. system has been working great for 1.5years, but this app terrible since last to udates.Mar 22, 2024 13:35:57

When configured properly, this is the best camera app out there, with a ton of system options and dito features. But, you need a fast mobil device, a fast internet line at your home and a fast internet connection on your phone/tablet.Without any of these, you will get a lot of lag and bandwidth issues. That is not a problem with the app, but rather an internet/network restriction on your home network or your phone. Works a lot better then the manufacturer's software. I was having trouble with the system going offline everyday & not being able to access the cameras from the app. All the suggestions from the app developer & my internet company (blaming each other) didn't work. After trial & error I figured it out myself... I set it to static & set the auto reboot to daily at midnight.
