very good app to tag, sort and find your images. adding tag although it needs double work for saving in photo's metadata is very cool way for finding them after a few month when you need them. also by the feature that shows the photos on map by location data, you can find your needed untagged images.worth paying for pro version for me. 4 star is for some improvement needed for the UI and speed.Jul 29, 2024 02:08:24

As a paid pro fstop user for many years I've have no problems until now. My thermal camera save jpg images in its own folder within /data folder. This folder contains a file called .nomedia which prevents fstop from displaying it. I cannot delete the .nomedia file or change the save path. Very frustrating! Decent but be careful, you can lose all your photos. I decided to delete a folder I'd just backed out of, but it decided to default to the main camera folder and deleted every pic on the phone. Went into the recycle bin, but that's just for looks and was empty. I'd rather not have an option to delete a folder if things like this are possible.Jul 27, 2024 23:56:01

Great little app, the problem however comes from the "protect" feature. Now my old phone screen broken completely and I ended up losing access to my phone beyond what files I could extract. Luckily I was able to get the .ipi files, but when I put them into the new "protected" folder on my new phone, the images didn't appear. I really just wished they was a way to restore the files beyond just changing the .ipi extension to an image extension as you end up losing the name of the file.Jul 27, 2024 04:44:59

This is a great gallery app. I've paid for it for years to replace every phone's built-in app and there still isn't a better one available. The [alleged] very minor issue I reported earlier turned out be a User Error, as usual :D Thanks to Support for their prompt response putting me back on the straight and narrow.
