Offline reading not possible although newspapers and magazines have been downloaded. Error message: "Problem loading content. Try again" But trying again results in same error message. Tried three different devices (Samsung Phone, Samsung Tablet, Lenovo Tablet) running current Android versions. Very poorly programmed. Great service and works really well on PC but the android app is a massive let-down. If I like a new magazine on pc it doesn't show up in the app, the app also never shows the latest editions of magazines, its always a couple of issues behind, also downloads never complete fully even on fast Wi-Fi.Jun 16, 2024 14:59:34

Suboptimal and disappointing. One of the main reasons I subscribed was so that my children could access their favourite comics and magazines without having to spend all their pocket money every week, but a few weeks ago my daughter suddenly lost access to the beano with no explanation. Good little app and great for a single device, a great range of magazines to read, the major criticism I have is it's not very good for multiple devices, there's no Kindle like sync on your reading position and bookmarks seem to take hours or even days to reach other devices which negates one of the major advantages to having content virtuallyJun 16, 2024 09:21:55

I love the app for the variety of content offered and I use it regularly, so I believe the subscription offers good value for money. My only issue with the app is that on the Android devices I use, my downloaded content is very slow to load if I'm off-line. As I primarily use the app while commuting this is frustrating. It was good, but some latest title issues have disappeared eg Jaguar World. Get latest issues and I'll up my rating, otherwise I'll be cancelling my subscription and spend it on hard copy.
