Works very well for my personal usage after learning the controls such as 2 finger tap to right-click. TeamViewer told me to buy a licence, saying connecting from any non-home network such as public Wi-Fi, mobile data, etc. is commercial use. Not a problem with Chrome and no nagging pop-ups or ads either. The only two improvements I can think of would be sending keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, F keys, etc) and file sending. I use the Windows on-screen keyboard and Google Drive as a workaround.Jun 04, 2024 10:17:52

I use this all the time to control my Desktop when I'm away, from my Laptop and my smart phone. Both versions have a weird bug that the mouse is not visible when first logging in. I just figured out, you can get the mouse to appear by dragging a window on the desktop screen. It would be great to get this fixed, though. I've had that issue since I installed it over a year ago. Other than that, I wish it was easy to transfer multiple files on the desktop version, like TeamViewer has.Jun 03, 2024 02:24:01

Tested on Windows 11 Standard. Pros. 1. Easy to setup and able to connect with PIN configured in the desktop end. 2. Full screen view allows you to view the same in the desktop. 3. 2 second long press on scroll makes it easy to scroll up and down. Cons. 1. There is no right click function where most of the short cut actions cannot be performed. 2. It's good. The reason I got it was to control videos I watched via my laptop connected to my TV. I gave four stars because I feel it could have more functionality. When using the "keyboard" in the app, hitting spacebar does not send the same signal as hitting spacebar on my physical keyboard (i.e. to pause a video in most cases, such as YouTube). An additional feature that is a controller with volume, play/pause, etc, would be nice.Jun 02, 2024 06:18:27

Easy to use. I had to learn how to switch between navigation mode and click-on-button mode. Since Amazon Prime Video doesn't have the cast button for Chromecast, Chrome Remote Desktop is a good way around to overcome this lack from Amazon. There is a problem when I want to type in a field, for instance an URL. No keyboard pops up. I'd have given 5* without this probelm.Jun 02, 2024 06:07:08

The new web based version is so much worse than the previous version. It is choppy and slow to use even on my S22 Ultra. I was looking forward to improvements. What a disappointment. Sorry Google. Old review for previous version: 4 Stars. Works great at what it does, but I'd like to be able to hit special keys for some of my programs such as CTL+i. If you could add extra keys like CTL, ALT, TAB, ESC, Windows key and the function keys (F1-F12) then this would be perfect! Thanks.Jun 01, 2024 21:42:42
